Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths is the upcoming project based on “Justice League: Worlds Collide” which is proposed for 2010 release. The story follows the conflict of the heroes with their counterparts from an alternate Earth. The Justice league is asked to help overcome the Crime Syndicate. The great battle follows the cruel conspiracies and their consequences. The movie promises a super action filled star cast and their heroics as they battle out the evil Earth counterparts.
Animation is the art of filling life into sketched characters by a fast succession of display of pictures to create an illusory motion. The concept of vision persistence is utilized here which works on the principle of optical illusion. Four brothers named Jack, Harry, Albert and Sam teamed up and founded the successful production house called Warner Brothers. Ever since, they have been able to successfully churn out many interesting projects.
Some of their projects which were launched this year include Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Green Lantern: First Flight, Wonder Woman and one of their upcoming movies includes Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths.
Wonder Woman released on March 3, 2009 is remotely based on “Gods and Mortals” and throws light on the heroism of Wonder Woman. Amazons possessed warrior women who were led by their queen who succeeded in conquering the war of God himself along with snatching his powers and capturing him as a prisoner who could be released by someone of equal might. They are compensated with an island which gifts them with eternal youth and the queen is blessed with a daughter. The daughter later comes to confront an American fighter who later helps her investigate the case of the God of war in spite of strong protests from the queen. After a battle between the god of wars and the American fighter, the princess wins the battle and agrees to stay in the world of men along with the American. However, she continues to perform her duties as a super woman shedding her bad qualities in the mean time. The movie has received favorable reviews for action and humor and has also been criticized for the violence portrayed in it.
Green Lantern: First Flight is an adaptation of the comic book Green Lantern mythology which was released on July 28, 2009. The main plot of the story takes us back in time when humans weren’t advanced in techniques. A special cult of humans existed then, who could harness energy from the green element to produce a Green Lantern and they were known as the Guardians of the Universe. However, it had a weak point as in; yellow light had the capacity to resist the power of green light. The yellow element gets stolen which later gets changed into a weapon and the investigator of the crime gets murdered. The chief investigator later becomes successful in destroying the yellow ring using the power of equivalent green element in an aerial encounter. Finally he descents to earth and reports back to work. The film has been lauded for the animations and the projection of heroism by an ordinary being.
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is an adaptation of the comic book “Public Enemies” which was released on September 29, 2009. The story line revolves around the combined heroic efforts of Superman and Batman who fervently try to avoid a meteoroid attack on Earth. The President elect of the United States, Lex Corp’s CEO, Lex Luther conspires against the good will of the country by deciding to let an advancing meteor hit the earth and rule the remaining part. However, Superman and Batman, along with slight assistance from Power Girl, spoil the President’s plan and save the planet in an aerial fight planned at the climax. The film promises an action packed thriller.
