Pixar firstly was created short films but not released in theaters. The tradition of releasing short film in theaters was started in 1999. The lengths of these films are generally five minutes to twenty minutes.

1. The Adventures of André and Wally B. ** - This is very first film by Pixar in animation world. The film was created in 1984.

2. Luxo Jr. – was produced in 1986. But this was theater released with Toy Story 2 in 1999.

3. Red’s Dream – This film made in 1987. This film is not theater released.

4. Tin Toy – This short film was made in 1989 and not released in theaters but its home released was with Toy Story.

5. Knick Knack – This was produced in 1989 and theater released in 2003 with Finding Nemo.

6. Geri’s Game – Geri’s Game was created in 1997 and got released in theaters with the featured film ‘A Bug’s Life’.

7. For the Birds – This short film produced in 2000 and theater released after one year with the film ‘Monster, Inc.’. This film was nominated for the Best Animated Short Film.

8. Mike’s New Car – The film was produced in 2002 and release with ‘Monsters, Inc.’ in theaters.

9. Boundin’– With ‘The Incredibles’ this short film was released in 2004. This was created in 2003. This was the Oscar nominated short film.

10. Jack-Jack Attack – This short film was made in 2005. With ‘The Incredibles’ the film was released in theater.

11. One Man Band – This film produced in 2005 and released with ‘Cars’ in 2006. This film was nominated for the award of Best Animated Short Film.

12. Mater and the Ghostlight – This film was released in 2006 with the featured film ‘Cars.’

13. Lifted – Created in 2006 and theater released with ‘Ratatouille’.

14. Your Friend the Rat – the film was made in 2007 and released with ‘Ratatouille’.

15. Presto – This film was released with the film called ‘WELL-E’. This was nominated for Best Animated Short Film for the year 2008.

16. BURN-E – This was also released with ‘WELL-E’ in 2008.

17. Partly Cloudy – in 2009, this film is released in 2009 with the featured film ‘Up’.

18. Dug’s Special Mission – This film is produced in 2009 and released with ‘Up’.
